Highly recommend ebikes…the way to go! Up-hill, down dale, not a problem! With a push bike, one is always thinking of turning around, heading for home: will it be too hilly, will it be windy? Not a bother with ebikes, all very pleasant and you can probably travel twice the distance v. a push bike. Very easy to use.
Great way to see Kinsale & the surrounding area, took about 2.5 hours. The electric bikes are brilliant, make the uphills like downhills! Ruth is very friendly & accommodating.
A group of us took a tour of the Kinsale area on Wild Atlantic Sports electric bikes. I can honestly say I would not have had 1/4 of the fun without that extra assist. Its not that you don’t work at all, its just that you never get so tired you have to take a break at the top.
We booked two different tours with Wild Atlantic Sports and I can confidently say that Ruth and her bike tours are simply incredible!
The country side and seaside is so beautiful and the bikes and equipment (helmets and vests, water and locks) were all in perfect condition. Ruth’s tours were gauged perfectly for us. Everyone had fun, saw a lot, and really got a great view of the Irish coastline.
