Even as regular visitors to West Cork, we learned a lot and got to see even more of the beautiful countryside and coastal landscape. Ruth was our guide and an absolute pleasure. She worked with us, assessed our abilities and needs and created a tour to fit. The bikes look like they are brand new and nothing was too much trouble. No matter what your level of fitness or bike proficiency, you will get something from this tour – even if it’s just the craic in a local pub!

Had a great afternoon touring around the Old Head of Kinsale with Ruth. One nervous cyclist and she made us both feel very comfortable. She had some good tips for the area and filled us in on the surroundings.

My mother and I did the half-day Wild Coast Tour with Ruth on a beautiful day at the end of September. It was a lovely scenic ride, starting at the beautiful Old Head of Kinsale, through beaches along the coast, and then into a small nearby town for a treat. Ruth was a great tour guide with good knowledge of the area. The route offered a couple of optional hills, and it was nice to have the choice to do these. The bikes were really nice hybrid models. I’d highly recommend a cycling tour with Ruth, and would love to return!

I can confidently say that Ruth and her bike tours are simply incredible! The first tour was a few hour tour of the Old Head of Kinsale with the whole family (Baby Boomer parents and four adult children). Ruth masterfully sized up the group and led a tour from the Lusitania Museum to Ballenspittle and back where everyone had a great experience. The country side and seaside is so beautiful and the bikes and equipment (helmets and vests, water and locks) were all in perfect condition. Ruth’s tours were gauged perfectly for us. Everyone had fun, saw a lot, and really got a great view of the Irish coastline.
